Life after.. The Mock Exams

The mocks can cause many different emotions for students. This is totally normal-don't feel like you're the only one in this situation. Everyone is feeling it. So-what next?

๐Ÿ“ˆBreathe & Rest: Ease yourself back in to study. Get your school and study routine back on track day by day and add a little bit more work each week.

๐Ÿ“ˆReflect & Correct: This is most important. Do not disregard your Mock results no matter how badly or well you did. Sit down with each paper and start doing all corrections. Reflect on each subject-where did you go wrong-Timing? Question structure? Reading the papers correctly? Specific subject knowledge? This is what you start working on.

๐Ÿ“ˆChecklists: From your reflections on your results, start prioritising the topics in each subject you need to focus on. Make a checklist for each subject. Write down your priorities: start with topics worth most marks.

๐Ÿ“ˆCommunicate: Talk to your teachers. Discuss your exams. Ask for advice. Ask now- that is the whole point to these Pre-exams; to make mistakes now and improve before the real thing.

๐Ÿ“ˆMirror Exams: Start mirroring your exams in June. Work under time limits-do questions under the timing to exams.

๐Ÿ“ˆKeep Going: Start now. You're nearly there. Don't give up. You have 90 days. If you did even 10 minutes of extra study a night that would be 15 hours of study completed by your exams. Little and often.
