dsa STUDY FEST marathon

Our biggest event of the year- DSA Study Fest Supervised study will run ahead of the State Exams 2024 for 9 full days from Monday May 27th to Tuesday June 4th including Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, 9:30am- 3pm daily. Study Fest is one package- there are no daily rates as all seats are fully booked each year well in advance of the event. Once you sign up you can attend all or as many sessions as you wish over the 9 days. We have extremely limited spaces.

Members of grinds & study receive preference.

EVENT DETAILS

○Over 40 hours of SOLID study ahead of exams- this time spent working hard can make a huge difference to your grades with some of our past students even reporting a grade increase of 20% in certain subjects.

○Study will be supervised at all times with daily motivation and encouragement from teachers on site during this stressful study time.
○No distractions- independent, structured study sessions, highly study focused. Students are motivated and supported by each other and the teachers on-site.

○Absolutely no talking or messing is tolerated during study sessions- with strict seating plans in place, we can assure parents that all students in attendance will be working 100% of the study sessions. If we feel a student is not using their study time adequately, parents will be notified straight away.
○Extensive shelves of exam resources & study aids for both Junior & Leaving Cert students including stationary, record cards, whiteboards, exam papers in all subjects, dictionaries, textbooks, revision books in all subjects, study skills books, study planners and more.

○Personal Study Timetables and Study Tips provided for all students for the event- giving them direction with their study.
○Study Ipads available for students.
○No mobile phones- phones MUST be placed in a holding area during all sessions. If not, parents will be notified.
○Absentee text service.

○**NEW**DSA Serenity Room available for students to book in for a specially created guided meditation during this stressful exam time.
○Students individually monitored by supervisors and parents informed on students focus & concentration where needed.

 

Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided during break times.

There will be a 30-minute break at 11am and at 1pm. A microwave and fridge are available for students who wish to bring their own lunch or alternatively they can go out for lunch.

Fees are due upfront to secure your spot- we do not take reservations, spots will be secured only when fees are paid. Fees for this event are non- refundable and non- transferable. Please note: There is a 3% website charge. Alternatively fees can be paid via bank transfer.
